Great facilities including sky TV and a fan in the room. I’ve seen some other reviews saying there wasn’t a toilet in their room but we had a en-suite wet room in our room. The bed was really comfy and the guy at the desk was very welcoming, polite and friendly! I don’t know why people are giving this hotel such a bad reputation because we had a great stay. We only paid £80 for 1 night in the heart of London, situated a 10 minute walk from Victoria park and Mile End tube station - bargain. I think some people may have over-exaggerated about the previous 1 star reviews, we were reluctant about going after seeing the reviews but after trying it for ourselves, we would return there.

It’s a unique experience that adds to the local flavor. Once the market winds down, the area becomes calm and quiet, making it perfect for resting. While it may not be the most modern or spotless hotel with all the bells and whistles, there’s a certain charm to it. The fact that the entire staff is composed of dedicated young men is commendable, and their efforts are certainly appreciated. All in all, it was a memorable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return

A friendly welcome on arrival and a large quiet room that backed onto a school, so a peaceful night's sleep. The room was clean and even had a fridge. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby to grab something to eat.
